Certainly this feels pointless. I can just imagine the experts sniggering.
I want to live in a world where I can shop without having to buy all sorts of plastic bags. It would be nice if that were how most people shopped, too, of course. Two levels of improbability. I want to actually myself influence the world in this direction. It's basically one direction. And I would like to know that all my plastic garbage is being recycled. I would like to know that all plastic garbage is being recycled. And I would like to actually myself influence the world in that direction, in those directions.
Coincidentally, here's an article about roads made from waste plastic (I'm skeptical), and it links to something about cleaning up plastic in the sea.
