Anything we are going to visually depict, in CAD, is going to be a surface, which could be a sphere or cylinder or some other curved surface, but is just as likely a plane, that is, a plane segment.

I just looked at some code that apparently describes screws or bolts in Tinkercad. "How would I model a screw in tinkercad?" I asked Lycos.

ISO metric screw threads

, was the reply. Down in the comments, there was, from the author, a non-working link to the code, and a working link to the code.

It's a good example, all around, looks like, of what programmers do - they're chatting back and forth, they've got stuff on Github.

Anyway, it's pretty much meaningless, to me. A) How can a person become a programmer? B) Could all of this be expressed more clearly?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
